How to lay out a farm before you plant anything
A farm is mostly plot: rows, paths and fences laid out on flat ground. These farm ideas show the size of the plot on every card, so measure your land first and pick one that fits without a day of terraforming. The blueprint draws each layer on a grid, one square per block, which makes long rows easy to count from a corner.
Gather the structure first and the crops later. The block list counts every block in stacks and chests, so you know how much wood goes into the fences and the barn before you start. Water for the crops is part of the layout, and the blueprint marks it on the grid, so you can place it where the crops need it.
Work chapter by chapter: footings and paths, then buildings, then planting and details. Each chapter ends at a place you can stop, and your step is saved, so the next session starts exactly where you left off.
How much space does a farm need?
Every card shows the size, and the guide gives the footprint in squares. Flat ground matters more than anything else, so measure your plot against the size before you open the guide.
Do I need to gather crops before I start?
No. The block list covers the blocks of the build itself. Seeds and crops go in at the end, so the structure can be finished first and planted when you’re ready.
Can I build a farm in stages?
Yes. The guide is split into chapters, so you can lay the paths and fences one day, add the buildings the next and plant last.
