What BlockyAtlas stores (your account, build progress and purchases), what stays on your device, which services process data for us, and how to delete your account.

Last updated: 2026-10-23

This policy explains what BlockyAtlas (blockyatlas.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@blockyatlas.com.

What we collect

  • Account. Your email address and name, or the Google account details you choose to share when you sign in with Google.
  • Build progress. Which builds you started, your current step and your material checklist. Without an account this stays on your device; with an account it is also stored on our servers so it syncs between devices.
  • Purchases. Orders, subscriptions and refunds. Card details go to our payment provider, never to us.
  • Support. Messages you send us, and our replies.
  • Technical data. IP address and browser details are processed to deliver the site, limit abuse and keep sign-in sessions working.

What stays on your device

Without an account, your progress, material checklists and settings are stored in your browser.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which we host ourselves. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. If we turn on additional analytics in the future, this page will say so before we do.

Who processes data for us

  • Payments: Waffo Pancake or Creem as merchant of record, as shown at checkout. They handle card data, tax and invoicing under their own terms.
  • Hosting and storage: Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database, R2 storage).
  • Email: our transactional email provider sends sign-in links, receipts and renewal reminders.
  • Sign-in: Google, if you choose Sign in with Google.

Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area; where required we rely on standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to help you, and are deleted when you close your account.

When you close your account, we keep each order and subscription record without your name, email address or IP address: only the order number, product, amount, currency, dates, status and the payment provider's reference numbers. We keep these for as long as accounting and tax law requires, and to handle any refund or chargeback that comes in after you leave. The merchant of record keeps its own invoices under its terms. We also keep a one-way hash of your email address, not the address itself, so the free build that comes with a new account can only be claimed once per email address.

Your choices

You can view and edit your details on your Account page, and close your account there: closing it cancels any running subscription, irreversibly anonymises the account, removes your sign-in connections (for example Google, so signing in again creates a new, empty account) and deletes your build progress, profiles, material checklists, ratings, saved builds, support messages and preferences. Purchase records are kept in anonymised form, as described above. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or its deletion, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

BlockyAtlas is intended for users aged 13 and older, in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
